The Storage and Shipping Terminal of Jose (TAEJ), is part of Pequiven’s petrochemical and industrial complex “General Jose Antonio Anzoategui”, and is located in the northern central coast of the Anzoategui State. The North TAEJ Island or loading platform is a loading platform with 8 berthing dolphins for docking of tankers to 310,000 DWT located at 6Km of the coast and with no access bridge. This terminal handles annually approximately 230 super-tankers with sizes between 80,000 and 310,000 DWT. Hence the importance of having an appropriate docking system.
To do so, it was necessary the dismantling and transporting to the TAEJ storage yard the existing defenses. Fix of the new anchors. Conditioning of the “Monopiles” (for craft berthing docks). Transport and set up of the new defense system.
Incostas performed all these activities simultaneously and under the strictest standards of safety, health and environment norms.
