Description
The general objective of this project consisted of restoring the fenders on axes 14 and 15 of the COPAL Pier in reference to the conditions in which the fenders were found after the collision of a ship during the docking maneuver at the pier and with based on the diagnostic report prepared in May 2017.
The project included the removal of the upper fender panel and chain, replacement of damaged shackles or turnbuckles, general cleaning and painting in the affected areas, replacement of bolts, installation of the upper fender, placement of the fender panel coupling the lower fender to the upper one. , installation of support chain, among others.
