Description
The objective of this study was to collect bathymetric and oceanographic meteorological data in the Strait of Lake Maracaibo and the Bahía de Tablazo, as input for the engineering of the Puente Nigale project. Tide levels were measured outside the Malecón pier. Another logger was deployed in Punta Palmas, in order to reinforce level measurements at the project site.
An oceanographic station (waves, tides and currents) was located in the Web Project, which consisted of an Acoustic Doppler Profiling Currentmeter (ADCP) with the wave and bottom trawl tide gauge to be mounted.
