Description
The project consisted of the study “Feasibility for the macro and micro location of a deep water port in the Araya Peninsula, as well as in the Economical-Financial Analysis and Environmental Analysis.
Macro-location
Preliminary analysis of location factors (geographic, oceanographic, environmental, social, seismic, geological, and of soil, roads, services, etc.).
Determination of possible sites for placing.
Evaluation of alternatives.
Micro-location
Field works, bathymetry, geophysical survey, magnetometry, topography, geotechnical survey.
Studies, hydrology, meteorology, geology, services, relation city-port.
General scheme of port development, conceptual design and spatial disposition of installations and necessary services.
